Since 1997, this show started as a philantrophy show where people makes donations to help mexican children with some kind of physical disability. The first year they settled down a goal of gathering more than $80,000,000 mexican pesos. Year after year they have had overcome the goal, gathering more money for this children. Fiesta Mexicana is a tv show broadcasted every year on September 15th as a celebration of Mexico's Independence. With many special guests that sing mexican music and with some humorists. It started in 1999, and since that year Lucero was one of the main guest performers. In 2006, Lucero was invited to be the main hostess of that show, and she has repited that experience over and over.
