La presentadora, cantante y actriz mexicana Lucero recibirá el 2015 Outstanding Achievement in Hispanic Television (Premio por Logros Extraordinarios en TV Hispana) durante la 13ª Cumbre Anual de la TV Hispana (13th Annual Hispanic Television Summit) en Nueva York que se realiza el jueves 22 octubre en el hotel Park Central.

NEW YORK, Latina award winning superstar television host, singer and actress Lucero, known as “La Novia de America” (America’s sweetheart, The Queen of the Telenovelas) will be honored with the 2015 Award for Outstanding Achievement in Hispanic Television at the 13th Annual Hispanic Television Summit, set for October 22 at the Park Central Hotel New York.
The award, one of two presented at the Hispanic Summit by Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News, recognizes the recipient for their professional and personal impact on the business of television and video for Hispanic viewers. Lucero is the first telenovela star to be honored with the award at the Hispanic Television Summit.
This year, for the first time, the Hispanic Television Summit is one of the signature events that make up New York City Television Week, which also includes The Next TV Summit & Expo, The Content Show, Advanced Advertising and the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame. “Lucero is a true icon who has been successful in multiple areas of entertainment, crossed cultural boundaries and won legions of fans,” said Louis Hillelson, VP/Group Publisher, Broadcasting & Cable/Multichannel News. “Lucero continues to be one of the most prolific stars in the history of the telenovela in an era when the telenovela genre is gaining popularity with English speaking audiences. Lucero is by far one of the most multifaceted artist in Mexico. To us, the hispanic culture, Lucero is a symbol of talent, dedication and hope. She has broken many boundries and has represented our country around the world! Not only is she worthy of this prestigious award, but also a great representative of the Mexican people!
