Lucero desde los inicios de su carrera art\u00edstica hizo participaciones especiales en los Teletones de Chile con Don Francisco. En 1997 inici\u00f3 este proyecto en M\u00e9xico para apoyar a familias con ni\u00f1os con alguna discapacidad f\u00edsica. En ese a\u00f1o se hizo una encuesta sobre qui\u00e9n pensaba el p\u00fablico que podr\u00eda convertirse en el coraz\u00f3n del Telet\u00f3n M\u00e9xico, as\u00ed es como Lucero se convierte por elecci\u00f3n popular en la estrella de este gran evento.<\/p><p>Desde entonces ha participado en el Telet\u00f3n de M\u00e9xico, Brasil, Estados Unidos, El Salvador, Costa Rica y muchos pa\u00edses m\u00e1s.
